This collection of impact statements illustrates how Ohio State University Extension is making a positive impact on the lives of Ohioans, their families, and their communities.
OSU Extension is “empowerment through education,” and its model of cooperative educational programming truly helps transform behavior, outlook and lives.
Extension’s success also depends upon its partners and the support it has from county commissioners, state and federal legislators, other elected officials, and the citizens of Ohio. OSU Extension professionals collaborate closely with local and regional partners to actively engage its clientele right where they live and work.
Beginning in mid-2016, OSU Extension began describing its work within six new key focus/impact areas. These impact areas emphasize the multi-disciplinary nature of Extension work to meet the needs of Ohioans throughout the state.
